HOUSTON (December 27, 2012) Signet Interactive, a Houston-based interactive marketing and advertising firm, just wrapped up its first annual holiday food drive for the Houston Food Bank.
The drive collected over 175 lbs. of food, donated by Signet employees, their families and neighbors at their 4545 Post Oak Place Drive location. The Houston Food Bank will distribute the collected food directly to Southeast Texas families and individuals in need.
"As good corporate citizens, it's important to us to reach out and do what we can to support our own communities," said Chris Mulgrew, Chief Strategy Officer at Signet Interactive. "Our goal is to be a part of community giving throughout the year, not just during the holiday season."
One of Signet's core missions is to provide support to non-profits and charity organizations in a variety of ways including fundraising, volunteerism and pro-bono services.
