Houston May 30, 2014 Signet Interactive was awarded two Crystal Awards by the American Marketing Association (AMA) at the gala event on May 29, 2014. In total, Signet was nominated as a finalist in seven categories and won the awards in the categories of Business to Business Marketing Campaign and Single Event Promotion.
For the second year in a row, Signet was recognized by the members of the marketing community from the AMA chapters for work on national marketing and advertising campaigns. Key wins included branding initiatives and marketing campaigns for EcoDual, an emerging clean fuel technology company, and for cross-channel marketing and event promotion for Thiessen Law Firm.

For the category of Business to Business Marketing Campaign, Signet Interactive won based on the results of a cross-promotional branding and marketing campaign that prepared EcoDual for a new product launch at the 2013 ACT (Alternative Clean Transportation) Expo. Signet redeveloped the website and put together a tradeshow booth, an active social media presence, public relations, and a multimedia presentation for the company's CEO to present at the expo.
For the category of Single Event Promotion, Signet Interactive won based on the volume of leads and digital engagement it generated through an event for Thiessen Law Firm, a Houston-based criminal defense firm. Signet had the law firm set up a booth at the music festival, Buzzfest. To encourage interaction from visitors, the booth included models dressed as police, free koozies and sunglasses, and a photo booth to take fake "mug shots." A custom, interactive iPad app helped capture booth visitors' email addresses.
In addition to the two first-place honors, Signet Interactive was also a Crystal Award finalist in five other categories: Online Marketing Campaign; Website, Non-profit; Marketing Campaign, Non-profit; Website, Business to Consumer; and Website, Most Improved.
The Crystal Awards are presented annually by the American Marketing Association and the Houston Chapter in recognition of the most notable marketing initiatives and talent. The Houston Chapter of the American Marketing Association is the area's premier professional marketing organization and currently the nation's largest chapter.
